As I no longer have to worry about losing my severance payments (seeing as you had prearranged a way to get yourself out of paying it all anyway) I have 2 words for you: Fuck. You. Your company is a joke and I have no doubt you will fail miserably and embarrassingly.

They've filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy which, according to the letter I received in the mail Monday, means they will continue operating and making money but are somehow no longer liable for the over $1600 in severance they still owe me. A letter dated Aug. 28 tells me that my severance payments will cease as of Aug. 24. They stopped them before they even told me. How fucked up is that?
At the risk of looking like an idiot, I'm still trying to figure out how this is legal considering there are signed documents involved and they are not ceasing business, but it's obvious from the letter I received they have absolutely no remorse for screwing over faithful, laid-off employees and I don't doubt for one moment that this was planned from the very beginning.
