Why I tried to dissuade Jon from watching Twilight

We missed you on Saturday though through reading your blog I see that you had more pressing matters than our spur-of-the-moment pig-out / Twilight get together.
I think of Twilight as my favorite movie of all time. I have no idea why! I feel like a little kid and I want to watch it again...and again...and again! It was so much better watching it at home without the damn teenagers behind us...
Jon and I actually had a relatively long conversation about the movie, the characters, and the books afterward. It was the oddest thing. I expected him to be a lot more critical than he was. Not to say that he loved it or anything, but I was shocked when he didn't just blow it off.
And I was so upset when I finally discovered your message on Sunday afternoon! It would have been so much fun to have the four of us watch it again without all the teen chatter!
